Halo 5, Xbox 360 Compatiblity, Rare, Windows 10, The Division, EA access and much more!
We take a look at all what Microsoft had on their E3 2015 Press Conference, starting things off with footage from multiple games to the theme of the Man of Steel by Hans Zimmer.
Halo 5 Guardians
Halo 5 Guardians, the first game shown in the press conference, follows after the events of the previous game in the franchise.
The plot of the game is that MasterChief is on the run because of the allegations of a treason, and you'll be a team running an investigation to learn the truth.
The presentation of this game is great, the graphics look fantastic, the creatures look organic, the different armors and metal surfaces look shiny and clear, it looks as you'd expect Halo to look on the Xbox One.
The multiplayer in this game, Warzone, will be similar to previous games, but this time around it will have connection to the main story.
The game will be coming to Xbox One this October 27th, 2015.
Recore is a new exclusive game for Xbox One, developed by Keiji Inafune and members of the team that developed Metroid Prime.
Shows exploration and different elements that seem to follow an isolation, yet action packed adventure, perhaps not too different from what we've seen on Metroid Prime.
It's also worth mentioning that the game seems to capitalize on the sense of discovery and wonder from the player.
At the time of announcement, the game has a release window of Spring 2016.
Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility
Probably one of the biggest announcements of the conference for long-time Xbox players, is that their games from the previous generation, the Xbox 360, will now be compatible with Xbox One.
This is thanks to a new system where if you own the disc of the game and put in on your Xbox One, the system will download a digital copy of the game so you can enjoy it on the current gen console.
Xbox One Elite Controller
As it is custom amongst first party developers, Xbox announced a new controller for Xbox One that allows you to interchange pieces like the D-pad, control sticks, additional back buttons, trigger stoppers, memory files, and more.
The controller will be compatible with Xbox One and Windows 10.
Fallout 4
Bethesda showed gameplay footage and showcased features within the game in the press conferece, we gave this game coverage on our Bethesda E3 2015 Press Conference article.
EA access
Ea access lets Xbox One players play Madden 16, Need for Speed, Dragon Age Inquisition, Titanfall, and other EA older games for a monthly fee.
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2
The new Plants vs Zombies has a gameplay very similar to that of the previous Garden Warfare, with new types of both plants and zombies, and new gameplay elements promised.
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 has a release window of Spring 2016.
Showcased alongside the new Ford GT, Forza Motorsport 6, the Xbox One exclusive racing game, had a few new interesting details and specs revealed.
The game will run in 1080p, 60 frames per second, will feature 24-car online multiplayer, making it one of the most interesting online experiences on Xbox One. The game will come out this September.
Dark Souls III
Not much was said about Dark Souls III. Other than it has a similar artstyle from the previous two games. The game will be coming early in 2016.
Tom Clancy's the Division
This game is a third person shooting game where you have to go against waves of enemies in an post apocalyptic New York.
It was announced that Xbox One owners will get an exclusive play at the Beta for the game.
Ion
Is a game that will revolve around the use of the laws of physics and biology, it's only been said that it'll be coming soon to Xbox One and PC.
The second game in the franchise reboot arrives this holiday to Xbox One.
Rise of the Tomb Raider seems to follow a very similar gameplay from the previous game, but on a much less stealthy and much more action packed manner.
Rare Replay
A greatest hits collection of Rare games will be coming to the Xbox One, it'll feature Battletoads, Banjo Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Viva Piñata, and other classics.
Sea of Thieves
Also from Rare, we got a first look on the upcoming game Sea of Thieves, a shared world adventure game about pirates, it'll be exclusive to the Xbox One.
Fable Legends
The new entry in the Fable series will be coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 and it'll be Free to Play for both systems.
Microsoft Hololens
Probably the most interesting news to come out of this press conference, is the Hololens, Microsoft's lenses that produce holographs in the real world when you wear them.
The lens is said to be powered with Windows 10, and is Microsoft's take on the holographic lens market, not too different from others, like Google glass.
Speaking of Minecraft, they also talked about MineCon 2015, where they promise it'll be the biggest Minecraft Convention they've had yet.
Gears of War Ultimate Edition
The classic, first game of Gears of War is coming remastered to the Xbox One with modern day standards of graphics, such as 1080p 60 frames per second.
It'll come exclusively to Xbox One.
Gears of War 4
The upcoming Gears of War seems to follow a similar gameplay from previous games, but the atmosphere is quite different, being much more colorful and having bigger contrasts from dark colors and bright ones.
The game also seems to take a less action oriented take, and a more varied style between really atmospheric, dark places, to battle arenas.
"Gears 4" will be coming exclusively to the Xbox One on Holiday.
And that wraps up our Microsoft E3 2015 Press Conference, we hope you found this review informative. What did you think of the conference? Which announcement stood out for you? Let us know in the comments.

About Paco
Growing up in the late 90's, Paco's introduction to video games was Mario 64, and he hasn't really stopped ever since, he's also a player kin to Wind Waker, having beaten it an unholy amount of times, and completed it at least 5 times, or so he claims.
