Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away Aged 55

A True Loss for the Gaming World


Satoru Iwata, President of Nintendo since 2002 has died today of a bile duct growth, leaving behind one of gaming's biggest marks and a legacy that will not be forgotten.

Nintendo delivered the news earlier today, saying "Nintendo Co., Ltd. deeply regrets to announce that President Satoru Iwata passed away on July 11, 2015 due to a bile duct growth."
