New Trailer Showcases Details and Features.
Nintendo of America just released a video for Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash where we get a look at new features, game modes, amiibo support and the character roster in the game releasing November 20th.
Characters
The characters in this game are mostly the typical Mario Tennis roster with the likes of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy(who actually debited back on Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64), Donkey Kong, Toad, Bowser, Yoshi, Wario and Waluigi.
Boo returning after not appearing in some Mario spin-offs and Rosalina who is debuting in the series.
amiibo Support
The support in this game is somewhat similar to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS in that you can train and level up your amiibo and play with him co-operatively or competitively.
An edge that this has over Smash Bros. is that you can play alongside your amiibo against other people online.
Features
Like your typical Mario game, it features power-ups and special moves for your character to do, it also features for the first time the Mega Mushroom. Multiplayer in this game gives one perspective on TV and the other on the Wii U gamepad.
